Sunlight Corporation is founded with the aim of establishing a nationwide franchise chain of individual tutoring cram school for all school ages. The Meiko Gijuku franchise and directly managed schools begin operations. (Location: Nishi-Shinjuku 6-chome, Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo; registered Head Office address: Nokata 4-chome, Nakano Ward, Tokyo)

Corporate name is changed to Meiko Gijuku Corporation.

Head Office moves to 1-33-14 Takadanobaba, Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo.

Corporate name is changed to MEIKO NETWORK JAPAN CO., LTD. (current name)

Head Office moves to 2-43-1 Ikebukuro, Toshima Ward, Tokyo.

Number of Meiko Gijuku schools reaches 500.

Company shares are registered for OTC trading with the Japan Securities Dealers Association (current JASDAQ)

MAXIS Education Inc. (formerly MAXIS Holdings Co., Ltd.)(became our consolidated subsidiary company. (Operation of the MEIKOGIJUKU which is franchised class rooms)

Waseda EDU Co., LTD. became our consolidated subsidiary company. (Operation of the Japanese school)

Establish Meiko Bunkyo as a joint venture company in Taiwan.
