To Create a Society where Everyone can Shine

Employment of persons with disabilities

There is no difference in people with disabilities to want to go out into society and work with pleasure and satisfaction as anyone. From the perspective of helping to solve social issues, such as supporting mental independence and contributing to regional revitalization through employment, we have decided to open a “farm” to create a place of work.
Growing and harvesting vegetables is physically and mentally suitable for people with disabilities (especially intellectual disabilities). Agricultural work through interaction with people not only leads to social improvement and skill acquisition, but also has proven to have the positive effect of “increasing the motivation to work” of people with intellectual disabilities. We are creating a safe, secure, long-term working environment for people with disabilities. Vegetables harvested at the farm are donated to the Food Bank to support child-raising families.

Our company, aiming to foster human development through educational initiatives, supports this activity by making donations, with the goal of ensuring that children around the world have access to education in better conditions.

In order to contribute to the healthy growth of children worldwide and the expansion of educational opportunities, we will continue to provide sustained support in the future.

Meiko Education Research Institute, Public Interest Incorporated Foundation

In order to provide educational support for children, students, and individuals who lack learning opportunities due to economic reasons, as well as to conduct research and development on self-directed learning education systems, the "Meiko Kyoiku Kenkyusyo" (Representative Director: Hirotake WATANABE) was established on May 8, 2014.
On April 1, 2015, it received recognition as a Public Interest Incorporated Foundation from the Prime Minister and became the "Meiko Kyoiku Kenkyusyo, Public Interest Incorporated Foundation."

The Meiko kyoiku kennkyusyo not only provides financial assistance for education to children, students, and individuals who are motivated but lack learning opportunities due to economic reasons, but also offers guidance and support in their learning endeavors. Additionally, we engage in research and development of self-directed learning education systems and learning materials, and plan to establish educational and training programs for self-directed learning as well as a qualification system related to these activities.

Through these efforts, we aim to contribute to the bright future of children and the cultivation of creative, self-reliant individuals who can thrive in the 21st century society.
